Getting started
Brands
Post as yourself, your business, or both, each with its own voice, audience and channels.
A brand is who's speaking in a post: you, or your business. Each one has its own name, details, audience and voice, and its own channels.
When you need more than one
- You post as yourself on LinkedIn and as your business on its Facebook Page.
- You run more than one business.
If you only ever post as one person or one business, one brand is all you need.
Add a brand
- Go to Settings, then Brands, and select Add brand.
- Under Who's speaking in these posts?, choose A person or A business or brand. A person's posts say "I" and a business's say "we". For a one-person business, tick Write as "I" instead.
- Add the name, role and a sentence about what they do, then set their audience, topics and goals on Audience & goals.
Your plan sets how many brands you can have: 1 on Free, 2 on Standard, 3 on Growth, 10 on Pro and 30 on Ultimate. If you need more, contact us about a custom plan.
Connect a channel to a brand
With two or more brands, Connectors has a section for each one. Select Connect a channel in a brand's section and sign in: what you connect goes to that brand. An account named after another of your brands, like a Page called "Negiflow", goes to that brand instead.
When a sign-in adds several accounts at once, NegiFlow shows where it put them. Change any that belong to another brand, then select Done.
To move a channel later, open the ⋯ menu next to it and choose Move to, then the brand. You can't move a channel while it has scheduled posts: publish or cancel them first.
Write as a brand
On Create post, choose the brand under Writing as. Post to then shows that brand's channels, and the post is written in its voice, for its audience.
To post the same idea to another brand's channels, select Other brands and tick them. Each of those versions is written as its own brand, for its own channel.
Your default brand
Create post starts on the brand you used last in that browser, or on your default brand if you haven't picked one there yet. To change the default, select Make default on another brand. You can't archive the default brand.
Archive a brand
Select Archive to hide a brand you no longer use. Its posts keep showing who wrote them. Move its channels to another brand first, on Connectors.
An archived brand's posts can't be published or scheduled. To post them, select Restore on the brand and give it a channel again.
