Connectors

Facebook

Connect a Facebook Page to publish posts to it, with or without an image.

Connect a Facebook Page, and NegiFlow can publish the posts you approve to it.

Note

Facebook only lets apps publish to Pages, not to personal profiles.

Before you start

You need a Facebook Page, and permission to manage it (as an admin, for example).

Connect Facebook

  1. In the side menu, select Connectors.
  2. Select Connect next to Facebook, and sign in to Facebook if it asks.
  3. Facebook asks which Pages NegiFlow can use. Choose them and continue.
  4. Back on Connectors, the Facebook card lists the Pages you chose.

Add or remove a Page

To add a Page, select Manage Pages on the Facebook card. When Facebook asks, select Edit settings, tick the Page, then continue.

Unticking a Page on Facebook doesn't remove it from NegiFlow. To stop posting to it, select Disconnect next to it on Connectors.

What NegiFlow can access

NegiFlow asks Facebook for access to:

  • the Pages you chose, and nothing else you manage
  • publish posts to those Pages
  • read their posts and basic details

You choose which posts go out. NegiFlow only publishes posts you've approved.

What you can post

A Facebook post can be text only, or text with one image. To add an image, select Add an image (optional) while you review the post. Images can be JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MB. Once the post is published, NegiFlow deletes its copy of the image.

Disconnect a Page

On Connectors, select Disconnect next to the Page, then confirm. Posts scheduled to that Page stop too. You can also remove NegiFlow in your Facebook settings, under Business integrations.

Using your own app ID and secret

You don't need a Meta developer app. NegiFlow connects through its own Meta app, and connecting through your own app ID and secret isn't available yet.
